Dubois didn’t put miller down either. Have you seen his resume? Most the people on miller’s record don’t even have 20 wins. Dubois and Ruiz are legit the only live opponents he fought. He’s a can crusher through and through. I’m not surprised he never got knocked out or dropped with opposition like that.
The fight stopped on cuts that were caused by repeated Headbutting. Hrgovic was never off his feet. You can argue it’s not shameful to fail to knockout Hrgovic, but it wasn’t an impressive display of power.
Some People were in doubt about Wardley’s chin until he fought Dubois. He didn’t fight a big puncher before. You can argue that fight proved Wardley’s toughness more than it proved Dubois’s power. Again, Wardley was never off his feet.
    who did Lerena fight again?
it’s very similar to the Ruiz stoppage.
He certainly has power, but I don’t think he’s one of the hardest punchers of all time. Almost every top 10 contender he stopped besides AJ were not dropped and ended the fight on their feet.

I would rate Usyk as a 6.5-7 and Fury as a 6.5. Usyk, when he plants his feet, has got decent power. Usyk's the only one who's (momentarily) shut the lights off in Dubois's brain.

Fury's shown decent power vs Whyte, Wilder and others (kronk!!).

A "featherfist" (imo) is someone like Chris Byrd.

I would rate Dubois as an 8-8.5. Zhang and AJ would be 9+ and 9 respectively.

He is a big and consistent puncher with two heavy hands unlike someone like Wilder (one right hand) or Zhang (one left cross).

His power carries late and isn't dependent on his gas tank so from that point of view he will always be dangerous throughout a fight.

Excellent technique and variety too. Very dangerous fighter.

Thudding power vs coiled elastic power (Joshua).

Yes, and with only 8 seconds left in the final round!

He doesn't necessarily need one specific trainer. He's done well so far: 2x titlist by 28, four significant wins, including a win over a future HoF and a strong fight of the year candidate. He is on track to be in the HoF himself. He is vulnerable but if he can land, he is very dangerous.

This is just nitpicking. You're bending over backwards to deny reality; Dubois is clearly massively heavy handed. The trainers know it, his rivals know it and the stoppage record confirms it. There is nothing to suggest that Miller, Hrgovic and Wardley are anything but very durable and Dubois was able to hurt/stop all of them. Even Lerena could go 12 with Okolie and survive everyone else without being dropped. Joshua got blasted to pieces by Dubois from round 1, whereas he survived Usyk x2, Wlad, Povetkin and Whyte with only one KD suffered.

Nah Dubois is a massive puncher, not atg tier but elite. Those shots that Wardley got hit with were incredibly loud, Miller has never gotten stopped by anyone else he's ever fought and Zhang landed way more punches on Joyce than Dubois did.

This post is kind of silly, nobody said dubois is the biggest puncher in the division

Dubois could be a one punch KO artist but never goes for it. Watch the difference in how he throws a right as opposed to Wardley or AJ. Dubois always keeps things tight and controlled, doesn’t ever seem to try to put everything he’s got into it. Meanwhile Wardley throws that overhand right haymaker with every single ounce of muscle fiber he’s got.

for a guy who seemingly doesn’t try to hit hard, Dubois has extremely heavy hands. If he really went for it, he’d be absolutely destructive.

I don't read people saying Dubois is some massive punching knock out artist? He has well above average power combined with very solid basic technique. I'm reminded of a perhaps apocraphyl quote about Liston. His coach was allegedly asked how hard he hit and he replied 'If Charles can touch you, he can hurt you'. I feel the same about Dubois. He lacks the explosive fast twitch dynamite real one punch ko artists have but he throws everything heavy and with 'bad intentions'. Most every punch he landed against Wardley would have stopped Monday coming after Sunday. Heavy hands.

With Wilder failing to KO Chisora, Dubois currently holds the KO rate record for HW champs and contenders. By 0.09%.

No illusion Dubois is anywhere close to the hardest hitter ever. That record is probably going down the same way it did for the many fighters who've held it in their prime. But if you're wondering why people are putting Dubois in that class there it is.

Yeah but now look at number of pure KO wins and compare with other big punchers. It's true that Dubois is not that high. He is an accumulation puncher, not a one punch KO artist

He’s still the only guy that hurt Wardley and Miller badly where they were close to going out. Hes not a Wilder level puncher but punches harder than most HWs

Dubois is probably a 6-7, he can punch. He's not an animalistic hitter. And yes Usyk and Fury are both 4-5. They aren't Chris Byrd, but they aren't Vitali or Wlad either.

Wlad is at least 9/10, Vitali would probably be around 6-7/10. Dubois around 8/10. Usyk and Fury around 5/10.
