And? $1.6M is excellent money with no superfight on the horizon and in a bad economy. Especially for an easy payday. Getting his ass kicked vs. Kessler for the same amount of money maybe doesn't worth it. But Taylor has the tools to grab $1.6 for less than an hour's easy work. But who knows, he might end up fighting Roy Jones in the Summer, another fighter who left the Calzaghe fight messed up with blood.
ABC's may not be better but they protect fans of the abuses promoters and HBO could make. US TV is the main reason why Taylor is richer for having fought a shot Lacy. I think it just goes to show that the US really doesnt like british fighters unless they are the best thing since sliced bread. Come on America, give froch a chance! Its not like he brings absolutely nothing to the table is it? I know 1.6 million isnt mega bucks but its still a decent slice of money to fight for and the chance to get the world title.

:good Totally agree. I like Froch but Taylor would pick holes in that defence. Hes been moved along so slowly for a reason. Big fights have recently fallen through vs Inkin and Taylor, but hes 31 and he should have been at this level three years ago. As a result of his competition level he takes liberties he cant afford and has developed a lazy defence and style which will be exposed at the top level.
