prime tszyu wins. 2 things: (1) Tszyu was set up for failure that night. But he was da man and he wasn't scared of **** so he did it anyways - went into ricky's backyard with everything stacked against him (I'm talking ref, judges, etc) (2) He was getting old.
Zoo was exhausted because his stamina was always his weak spot. That one low blow was not the reason he lost and I am a huge fan of Zoo.
What a crock of ****! Are you broadly applying your "bad stamina" comment to his entire career, based on events that occurred in his very last fight? A relatively high percentage of Tszyu's KO's came during the second half of his fights. You just have to watch some of his best performances, like the ones against Miguel Angel Gonzalez, Ruelas, Bergman, Pineda, Rodriguez, etc. to know that his stamina was very good.
Zoo's stamina failed him against a limited Phillips as well. He improved it after that fight but he was no Arguello in that department. It was always his biggest weakness and it has cought up to him in the Hatton fight again. Plain and simple.

People ***** about the Ref in the Zoo fight and Hatton's fans ***** about the ref in the Mayweather fight. Neither would have make that much of a difference. The results would have been the same.

Refs have some impact on a fight but Hatton was showing a very good chin by eating Zoo's right hand on a few occassions and wearing him down with agression. KT would have lost that fight in Vegas.
Look, I agree that his stamina failed him in both the Phillips and Hatton fights. But everything must be judged in context. You can't take an observation from two fights that occurred on opposite ends of his prime years- roughly a ten year period- and apply it as a macro concept to his entire career. I've never understood why Tszyu has always been particularly susceptible to this kind of flawed reasoning. It's like saying that Ali could never have beaten Marciano because his stamina was bad- just look at the Holmes fight. The reality is that his abilities that night were in no way indicative of what he was capable of, when he was anywhere close to his fighting best.
