The Pac-Man is catching Sweat Pea, but not quite there yet, IMO.

So FW Pac beats Arguello, Sanchez, Pep?

SFW Pac beats Floyd and Arguello?

LW Floyd beats Pea, Duran, Ike Williams?

    LWW Pac beats Pryor?

WW Pac beats Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Ray Robinson????

Hagler would beat pretty up every MW, bar Monzon in some people's eyes.

    Weight-jumping can be distracting IMO.

And Hagler beat Vito decisively both times IMO. Close figths don't take away from a fighter.

The Hagler that Leonard fought had been through some absolute wars. He was not shot, but past it, and to be honest Leonard hardly won the fight decisively himself. A lot of people think Hagler won that fight, it wasn't a 'comprehensive' victory by any means.

ranking a fighter based on resume is the only objective way to rank a fighter cause its based on facts.

    H2H is just guessing.

Sorry, I was just replying to the otehr chap.

Maybe H2H is a bad word; overall skills shown in a career might be better.

I.e Sven Ottke has some very good names on his resume and is undefeated. However, he has no right being ranked highly as we all know he was crap:good

h2h is a way to prove that the talent of a fighter is timeless...look at joe brown, he is not blessed with great fighters in his era yet he is a good fighter h2h

If you mean Louis, then he showed good skills and ability. It's not H2H it's overall skill and ability.

Again, look at my Ottke reference.

how can you prove that a boxer has great ability? you must stretch you imagination and envision them pitted against great fighters of different era...look at jofre, not top 50 in resume but no one beats him in h2h match-up

you must use your hypothetical match-up to prove that marciano has no chance against HWs lewis, liston holyfield and even frazier

first of all he had great fighters in his era the guy fought for more than 25 years are you going to tell me there wasnt any great fighters during that time.

and what makes him a good H2H fighter?your opinion that he would beat other great fighters?

isnt that just guessing, who knows what would happen if he had faced other great fighters from other eras.
