Wether he was losing the fight or not, the goal of the sport is to win the fight itself. If you knock out your opponent, that counts. Lineal champion at 19 years old is ****ing amazing regardless of who he lost to after. And he didn't win it off some scrub either. All the excuses in the world can't take that away from him.

I'm not trying to take away from his accomplishment. Still, all the excuse in the world can't change the fact that Manny was not a well rounded fighter at that point hence the reason why he was KO'd by an average fighter.

No he was not a complete fighter at that point, whats your point. Remember he had no amature career so those were some of his first fights. What did you expect him to go into the ring as the greatest boxer ever. No you don't start boxing with all the skills, talent, and athleticism to dominate, you pick those up over time.

I mean I think everyone agrees that the Pac who lost to Torecampo or Singsurat was not as good as this Pac. That's like a no **** moment. You also have to admit those losses don't diminish the skills and talent he posses now. Just like Mayweather's losses at amateur don't diminish his career. We realize boxers gain skill sets and become better fighters.

Pac should have fought people he knows he could have beaten, even at 16. Then he would have kept his 0.

You hold it against Mayweather that he didn't turn pro sooner.

Like he could of easily illegally did it.

he legally could of started a year earlier, but he didnt.

he would rather have an olympic silver medal than to become a teenage champion.

    Yup.

You win, Floyds a ***** for wanting to get a gold medal instead of a world championship.
