the stoppage was good and it kept quintana who at the time showed no defense from getting hurt. he tried to move but was hunted down. when quintana tried to return fire at berto he threw a punch that looked like he had nothing left. good stoppage even if the ref was not so good.
I really defended him a lot and thought he was still doing a good job. Tonight proved me wrong. He is done.
dude did you really think Quintana looked like he needed to be taken out on a stretcher from taking too many shots? I don't like to see a guy taken out on a stretch but that fight was nowhere near that situation.
Yes you can. What's with the 'ifs'? It was Quintana and his corner in there. He and his team not complaining means they knew it was over and had no problem with the stoppage. He was clearly spent at the time of the stoppage and Berto was landing everything he threw, eyes closed. What are you talking about. You have to see a man down for it to be an ok stoppage. It was an excellent stoppage. Quintana knew, as anyone could see, that he was cooked at that point. His legs were gone, his desire was gone, and he was just taking punishment. He came with a good plan, but lacked the athleticism or raw ability to execute it. Credit to him for showing up and trying all the way, but it was over at the time of the stoppage.
Bingo. As far as I'm concerned, once a guy captures a belt, he no longer gets to hide behind excuses about needing time to mature. Get that done before taking a belt hostage. It's time to get in with the names.

I think for some its skepticism, others it's wanting to see him fail. Guy has ability, but he's never put it together with consistency. Almost wish he had a lose in his 10th or 11th fight, force him to re-think things.
