I was going to mess about with this, but it actually looks pretty good. Boytsov is too high, and Peter could be 2 places lower but otherwise its a good top 15 (16) Oh yea and I'd have Valuev way down aswell, having lost his last two fights and ducking Vitali Klitschko :deal
The top 5 are fine. I would move Gomez in the top ten, and slide Boystov out until he beats say a top 15ish fighter.
Mendoza and Squire. ok so is this a better list Heavyweight This content is protected 1. Vitali Klitschko 2. David Haye 3. Alexander Povetkin 4. Ruslan Chagaev 5. Tomasz Adameck 6. Nikolay Valuev 7. What about this one: Heavyweight This content is protected 1. Vitali Klitschko 2. David Haye 3. Alexander Povetkin 4. Ruslan Chagaev 5. Tomasz Adameck 6. Eddie Chambers 7. Nikolay Valuev 8. Sam Peter 9. Chris Arreola 10. Tony Thompson 11. Olandier Solis 12. Dennis Boystov 13. Juan Carlos Gomez 14. Alexander Dimitrenko 15. Evander Holyfield
Please for the love of god someone make Evander Holyfield number 1, send him the official ESB belt, along with a WBC Diamond belt, a GBU belt, and tell him that he is the unified boxing king and then hopefully he hangs them up.
I don't get why people cram Haye in at #3. Chagaev beat a better version of Valuev, and did it more convincingly. Hell, even a mummified Holyfield did a better job than Haye did. I'd rank Chamber's and even Adamek's wins at Heavy more highly than Hayes. They both beat average guys, but not tomato cans. Haye belongs in the top ten, but can't crack the top 5 until he fights at least one decent guy at heavyweight. Sure Chag, Chambers, and the Arreola that Adamek beat have all come off losses to the Klits. But Haye would too - and it's pretty clear that he knows it. So how can he possibly be ranked so high?
Adameck had 1 win over a top 10 guys at Heavy. Arreola and Chambers both coming of losses. Chambers has decent wins which is why he is still top 6. Arreola has no wins over a top 10 Heavyweight and has lost every time he stepped up. Chagaev has 1 win where he looked awful since the Wlad loss and Povetkin has done nothing since his win over Chambers. Haye has 2 wins over top 10 guys in Valuev and Ruiz (at the time). He also came up to HW as the Champion at Cruiserweight. Don't say that doesn't matter at Heavyweight because every other champions and highly ranked guys that moves up gets a top 10 rankings (Caballero, Adameck, Darchinyan, Donaire, JM Lopez and before losses Arthur Abraham and Jermain Taylor)
