This bloke swore blind to me that Tyson beat Ali, I even got boxrec up to prove they never fought, and he still wouldnt believe me, he even tried to describe the fight!!! I hate it when people dont get weight categorys like my mate said "who would win in ricky hatton and calzaghe" and I explained it would be a mismatch due to weight differences, so he countered "yea but the smaller guy would be faster, the bigger guy wouldnt be able to hit him" Drives me mad!!! I also remember when I was at school two PE teachers laughed at me because I said Lewis was going to beat Tyson (about a week before they fought each other).
I remember my dad once telling me he worked with a filipino guy who claimed to be a real big boxing fan (of course we all know what that means). Anyway my dad (who is a genuine boxing fan just cant remember alot of fighters names) was talking to this guy text me one night asking who the Filipino fighter we had watched the night before was and i told him it was Nonito Donaire and the Filipino guy says hed never heard of him.
