We've All Had To Deal With Them...

This bloke swore blind to me that Tyson beat Ali, I even got boxrec up to prove they never fought, and he still wouldnt believe me, he even tried to describe the fight!!!

I hate it when people dont get weight categorys like my mate said "who would win in ricky hatton and calzaghe" and I explained it would be a mismatch due to weight differences, so he countered "yea but the smaller guy would be faster, the bigger guy wouldnt be able to hit him" Drives me mad!!!

I also remember when I was at school two PE teachers laughed at me because I said Lewis was going to beat Tyson (about a week before they fought each other).

 

Perhaps he was thinking of Malinga too, although his KO ratio aint that great either

 

I remember my dad once telling me he worked with a filipino guy who claimed to be a real big boxing fan (of course we all know what that means). Anyway my dad (who is a genuine boxing fan just cant remember alot of fighters names) was talking to this guy text me one night asking who the Filipino fighter we had watched the night before was and i told him it was Nonito Donaire and the Filipino guy says hed never heard of him.

 

Had to listen to a fella on the other end of the table in the canteen in work today going on about Tyson being the best heavyweight of all time, that he would have beaten Ali as he had too much for him. Done my head in.

 

Has anyone NOT heard some overweight hard man propping up a bar and telling everyone within earshot that he'd have that Bruno/Lewis/Haye in a street fight and all boxers are wankers?

 

I was going to mention the amount of people who became experts in the lead up to this insisting that Hatton would be too good for him!

 

i get that the klits are the be all and end all for you but try looking into other fighters and other weights , your shits to repetitive

My best mate (who's boxing knowledge is usually very good) insists Tyson beat Bowe in the pros.

He's just got a bit of a mental block with Tyson..... otherwise he'd be comparable with some of the best posters on here.

Wasn't happy when I gave him chapter and verse on why Bowe would beat seven shades out of Mike if the fight ever happened :yep

just last week this clown i ended up talking to on the way out of a boozer was adament james toney was current wbo heavyweight champ and showed how mma is much beter then boxing i just walked away after bout a minute
