Let's Discuss This: Valero's Potential...

  1. I think he would have become a good solid champ, but I think he had the potential to be a lower level all time great. Fighters of his ilk tend to fizzle out fast.. but if he had kept his **** together I give him a shot to win against anyone at 135 and 140.

    He was known for being 'wild' and 'like an animal' or whatever but I think thats a misnomer. At least in his last few fights he showed a lot of patience, along with great hand speed, will, and heart... In the De Marco fight I really thought we were seeing a future star of boxing emerge... What a damn shame.

    valero had great power was very good at judging distance and timing.that maxboxing documentry shows how he got such a great gym rep.his resume is too thin to really make a judgement.would have loved him to fight jmm

    I think he would have smothered Marquez for a victory if they had fought this year, either at 135 or 140.

    He would have been a Solid Champ, IMO he would be decent at Light Welterweight but should have stayed at Lightweight.

    I think dudes lack of balls n heart (which was clear in the Ultimate ***** move of murder/suicide, if you are gonna kill ne1 @ least have the ****in sack to face their family and tell them why) would have cost him eventually.

    Valero is a Legend in south america!! He was a prisoner of his own mind and now hes finally experiencing peace... All the man knew was war!!

    Man gatti was not in valeros class!! Gatti was a real warrior like valero but skill wise you cant compare the two... Ev had it all, skill, speed, power and heart! He was a ****ing wrecking machine that couldnt be stopped!! :bbb:bbb

    NO the dude was out of his ****in mind and killed his wife, who im sure he loved very much!! Then when he realized what he had done he took his own life! He had a severe mental illness... schizophrenia! Google that ****... he also took street drugs, which turned him phychotic due to his mental condition!
