Just a point for discussion. Is the margo manny fought a better fighter than the baldo floyd fought. Both had a massive weight advantage over the number 1 fighters? Baldo just looked mentally tired at the end but margo had his face smashed. Then again pacquiao also took more leather in the process.

Margarito was the WBO WW champ since 2001 and beat Daniel Santos for the vacant belt to become that champ. If he really wanted big fights with big names then he would have looked to become there mandatories. Going after a vacant belt vs a weak WW. Then defending it vs average comp for the next 4yrs does not make him come off as a guy who was chasing big fights. More like a guy Arum was looking to build up bs hype around.
