There are rules in play though, which we have always adhered to. It says so right under the fight list: 7 days to add on a fight. This fight was added only 4 days before, which is breaking the rule. That's the bottom line, as I see it. It also doesn't help that it was missing from the fight list itself.

It looks like axe was about the only person that did not see it because everyone else seen it check the picks, maybe in the future when you add fights on someone can call AXE on the phone and let him know theirs an add on. MAJORITY RULES.
I had it happen to me here the day before the fight I did not cry about it and your the only one that did not pick the fight and I do under stand its going to knock you down the list but you have to rember you win some and you lose some thats just part of life Again this is not the first time SIR KIRK has added fights after the fight list.
AXE if you would spend alittle more time on this site you would see the add ons look at the date above this gave us all ample enough time.:good Like it says ifff youuu want to suggest a fight to be added it needs to be suggested 7 days in advance THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WHEN KIRK POSTS IT HE COULD POST IT THE DAY OF THE FIGHT IF HE WANTS SOOO CASE IS CLOSED AND IT STANDS WHEN YOU READ DONT READ BETWEEN THE LINES AGAIN MAJORITY WINS NICE TRY THOUGH.
To be fair and impartial I say we should count the Syllakh fight and discount the Broner one, same with the bets. :deal
Big Bone why do that nothing was done wrong because one guy who is on top of the board loses and going to get knock down a couple spots is a sore loser thats not fair how about the guy trying to move up the ladder Their is no 7 day rule he is full of **** thats not what it says Im not giving up my wins.
i actually agree with jordan, the rule is about suggestions, kirk did officially add it so it counts. however this jordan guy is coming off as a complete tosser and i wish he was wrong :-(

Ok..... well. Axe brings up some very good points, mainly, when I added the fights to be picked on, while I added them up top, I did indeed forgot to put it in the actual fight list. SO I think the right thing to do is to not count the fight. 99% of everyone picked Syl to win the fight so it doesnt effect anything much. I understand both sides here, and I can see both points of view, however, ultimately, this is my bad, I need to remember to put the fights down under even when I add them up top. I am, however, counting the Broner/Ponce fight, that was on the main list. So I apologise for the inconvenience, and I will be keeping it in mind when adding fights in the future :good
You guys don't understand. We have to discount the Broner fight because I got that wrong! It's only fair! We DEFINITELY count the Syllakh fight. NO WAY we discount that! :deal :bbb :hi:
Bottom line is if someone is checking the fight list real quick, and goes through it, they wouldnt see that fight listed. To me, that is the issue. Although I think the addition up top is sufficient, I suppose it could be easily skipped if someone is just scrolling through and then going right to looking at the fights in the list. The 7 day thing isnt an issue to me, its more of a guideline I like to follow for some peoples benefit who dont check the thread as much. But to me, I didnt add the fight to the main list down below for some reason, and so Axe does have a point I think :think
