Forrest clearly isn't a bum, a hardworking gatekeeper that somehow managed to become champion of a very strong division. Not sure which boxer I'd equate him to but it'd be someone better than Ruiz. Got to admire the balls on the guy too, he'll take any fight.
He's not the most talented fighter ever, but: * He always tries to get better, * He always enters the octagon in top condition * He will fight ANYONE * He has tons of heart and guts * He was the champion of a stacked division * He has a very deep resume with a few bad losses, but a half-dozen very good wins as well, including some over MMA legends But Dana White loves him and he was on TUF, so Scurla hates him and he's a bum who will get disrespected every time Scurla The Wise mentions him. :-( atsch :hat
Forrest is not a bum, not at all. He is a top 10 guy in a good division who has beaten great fighters.

He watched a few of their cards on TV and really liked them, don't you see? And now it's years later and the organization has folded and all its stars have come off roids and gotten their asses kicked in the UFC. Imagine his grandkids asking him what his tattoo means. He'll have to tell them it was a mixed martial arts organization that existed for a total of 10 years, an organization that he was never involved with, promoting a sport that he never participated in. Forrest is tough but the wrong shot always has his body betraying him. I think he was too confident from the first fight where they had a war. He shouldn't have been engaging at all with a fresh Shogun early. I thought he'd immediately be striking and feinting for the takedown.
