Hearns vs Spinks

    Are you asking who was the pound for pound better fighter ? I'd say Hearns ...

    I guess that's the answer I was looking for. I always thought so too. With the greatness of Hearns the Spinks being possibly the best lt heavy,and Hearns not being in his true prime at Lt Heavy,I always wondered that.

    Again, Hearns get's KO'd. His chin and suspect stamina wouln't hold up too well against these bigger guys.

    Basically,Hearns would start boxing Spinks and start off nicely, but around the fifth or sixth round, Spinks would put on the pressure, and with the Spinks Jinx, coldcock Hearns around the seventh or eighth round.

    Agreed,Hearns was a good lt heavy but not a great one. But I was referring to pound for pound sense.
