You've already outed yourself as a casual fan of the sport, Chacal. You have no appreciation of the finer points of the sport, as you have clearly demonstrated. And judging by this post above, you've never heard of the old saying...when you find yourself in a hole, don't keep digging. If you think the fight was boring, why don't you put up a poll and see if the forum agrees with you or laughs you off as clueless. Or If you want to hear from someone who is actually somewhat knowledgeable about boxing in general, why don't you have a listen to the @Rumsfeld post-fight impressions below. Not sure I would class the fight as boring, it wasn't a thriller either and despite the pre fight hype there was a certain lack of drama for the reasons you've laid out. But it was very competitive and that made it entertaining enough for a first time watch, not a fight I'll go back to watch again but not one I'd say was a stinker.
I'm hoping ESPN shows a replay this weekend (like HBO used to do a week after a big PPV fight) so I can DVR it. Two skilled operators with a bit of bad blood between them. I'd really like to see a rematch. Would you not like to see a rematch, chacal?
After all of the dust have settled…and a rewatch. (1st time) 7-5 or 8-4 Loma hands down imo, Loma was just better. Excellent fight regardless and respect to both 8-4 Haney though…
One judge had it 8-4 for Haney lol, so even if one judge actually gave Loma a decision he’d still have lost a split…
Has anybody contacted that ****er and asked him to explain that???? Why isn’t he being put on the spot???? These puke judges score **** decisions and just slither away without hassle! Why?
I've been gifted a decision where I felt I had lost, IMO - and I straight up told the other guy I felt he won. Atlas talks about judging and prefight fixing in this video with Rogan. The first 5 minutes in gets me so heated everytime ! This content is protected
Explanations would do us nothing & we've all seen how this plays out before involving much larger superstars, just like Loma appealing the decision will get him no where, it's more like a formality of words at this point.
