If this is all just an overture for him to beat Wilder in a rematch (a man we already know he can outbox across the distance, outside a stray lucky shot) and then make a single title defense against Briggs and then retire, Fury will effectively squander most of the credit & goodwill his comeback has earned him thus far. When you stop and think about it, especially if you are of a mind that Wilder has always been a carefully protected fraud, nothing about this post-Wlad campaign is anything to write home about.
