Squats/Deadlifts?

    When I think of upper body strength I think of some of your most functional exercises are the wrist roller at the gym and hammer curls. 5 x 10 reps. As far as lower body exercises, donkey calve raises are golden as are adductor raises.

    high rep hindu squats will definately keep you light on your feet and give you an extremely powerful pair of legs. ditto for lunges.

    they wont add as much size or pure strength as squats will though.

    Are hindu squats any better than doing your typical bodyweight squats?

    All the extra arm movements seem pointless to me.

    not really, arms are just for balancing with your heels up.
