True. I can't remember the punch-stats for that fight, but Foreman must have landed at least 45% of his punches. To his credit, Briggs showed a very good chin; if he'd actually had defensive skills and good stamina he could have been something special.

No, Billy put in a brilliant performance and gave a very good titliist one hell of a fight. It was damn close in the end, and in them situations I think the benefit of any doubt should go to the champ. And bear in mind the fight was in Hardy's home town. On top of that Orlando was classy and did the right thing giving Billy a deserved rematch, which was a littte more one sided.
That was indeed a shocker, and fell into the stereotype of foreign fighters needing a KO to get a draw in Germany. Mind you I am from England and I know for instance Sugarboy Malinga may think the same of my country.
