Yes, he has a shot. He hits hard enough to hurt anyone that he catches clean, and is a good enough boxer and fighter to have moments against anyone he faces. If he can find a way to maximize the effects of those moments that he will have against Mayweather, then he may well have his hand raised in victory by the time all is said and done. That being said, I think it's going to be easier said than done to make something like that happen, because if anyone has proved themselves capable of limiting the effects of the moments that other fighters have against him, it's PBF. So, to summarize, Cotto has a shot. And it's probably a better shot than most other fighters on the planet have against Mayweather. But it's still not that much of a shot, which is why I'm picking PBF to win via UD.
