    He should have a tune up with Broner first THEN go for Walsh.

    **** fight, it'll add a KO to Burns' highlight reel and hopefully help seal a big unification next year.

    Ricky Burns should be fighting a better level of opponent than Walsh :-(

    I haven't a problem with Burns fighting Walsh, it just shouldn't be for the title.

    In defence of this fight say it is Broner next in March/April if he did not have this fight it would mean Ricky had only boxed 4 rounds in the year prior to the Broner fight, the fight with walsh(ticket seller) is just to Keep him sharp and his wieght under control, remember its just an undercard fight just like when he fought CooK(on the undercard of Mitchell-Murray) prior to the Katsidis fight

    In defense of FW whats the point in just putting him in a 10 round non title fight to keep him sharp when you have someone like Walsh who is ranked in your stable so why not just make it a title fight get a bit more publicity allthough slightly devaluing the title

    it just like Bellew vs Cleverly to me
