Plus Wlad is far more tactically aware than Bruno and can tailor a game plan based around his opponent, but a fight between the two would be an interesting match-up.

Id pick Bruno early, if it goes past round 6, Wlad would take him apart. But Bruno would be dangerous for even upto 7 rounds.

Remember he rocked Tyson in the first round and was competitive with Lewis for 7 rounds.

Willie Pep once won a round without throwing a punch.

Mike Tyson won a BELT without landing one.

    all thanks to Bruce

Good shout on Akinwande. Forgot that he actually held a title.

Also good shout on what ppl are expecting from Wilder.

He beat a solid guy who would be a formidable opponent for just about any titlist of the past, albeit limited. But certainly no worse than than many of the other paper titlists and title challengers of the past. :think

We still don't know how good or bad Wilder is yet.

That Tyson in 89 vs Bruno gave one of his worst displays in the ring, even after his jail time, his timing was all over the place, just a hideous display. You saw when he came out of jail how badly he beat up Frank, and that was the Tyson that everybody says was past best also. I don't see why Wlad should be mentioned here, he's a class above Frank, a league above.

Frank was badly depleted by their second fight.

I never said Frank and Wlad were in the same league, i said they had some similarities and a fight between them would have been interesting.

I think Bruno would be competitive with Wilder, as mid 90's McCall was probably around par with Stiverne. But Bruno was still a poor champion, as is Wilder.
