I wrote that 3 years ago, and its as accurate as if i wrote it today.
i think robert garcia would be the best fit for him.

 

Yes, he's improved and has added wrinkles to what he does. Even Abel Sanchez, an opposing trainer who observed him as a young fighter, conceded as much prior to the first Golovkin bout.

Yes, his stamina has gotten better. It's just never going to be great. Genetics are a factor.

Canelo is a steady boxer puncher/counterpuncher hybrid, he's never going to be an all-out pressure guy.

I don't know whether he popped for clenbuterol as a result of consuming tainted meat or knowingly ingesting the drug, and neither do you. We can only speculate.

That would be an interesting union (as would Canelo-Garcia), but I don't agree that he absolutely needs to leave the Reynoso camp.

 

STFU. Canelo has improved significantly over the years. He would body Mayweather if they fought again.

Stamina is not something everyone can change or improve upon. And I imagine that the frustration of being unable to do so organically pushed Clenelo to doping.

 

Not too many Elite coaches would have allowed Canelo to batter 40 year old lightweight to death in sparring.

You must not listen to what Eddie Reynoso tells Canelo in his corner. He gives excellent advise. And their gameplan against GGG was just about perfect.

Subpar stamina however is something that is encoded in his DNA. If it hasn’t gotten better by now, it probably never will.
