I know the reasons, but the rematches dominate his hw resume

I would much rather see Parker or Kabayel. But at the end of the day, I guess he wants to 3-peat as undisputed.

He says he wants two more...I hope he forgets this Pereira adventure and instead gives the winner of Parker-Bakole a shot.

He's miles behind Holyfield for me at HW
Usyk has beat 3 guys that are worth their salt at Hw. Another win over Daniel means nothing. It adds nothing, he's expected to win

Pacquiao should have rematched cotto and Floyd could have fought Hatton again,

There was that interview recently where they asked him is Dubois has gotten better, and he pointedly said, "no."

He's already the champ and undisputed. Picking up another paper title again, which really belongs to him is not as great as fresh blood

This undisputed s..t is being too hyped. It would be different if usyk retired, then came back to reclaim the belts, but everyone views him as the champion

I mean, I pretty much agree.

This echoes a discussion I was having with Lufcrazy...there is the real meat and potatoes on the record, and there is the shorthand, paper stat which takes on a life of its own. If Usyk picks the IBF strap up again, he is "three-time undisputed champion of the world." Now you are right...pull back the curtain and there is less there than if he would just make a couple of good defenses. But it's its own thing.

You have a point...I believe he did. But who knows?

Yes i am not sure if he did. His English has gotten a lot better but there are still things that will be lost in translation. Especially if the interviewer is talking relatively quickly.

If you fans are happy enough, then it's all good

But fighting the same 3 guys at heavy and a few cruiserweight wins is NOT putting him up with Manny, Duran, Leonard and Co. That's just my opinion

He is just a semi retired fighter looking for low risk, high reward and im fine with it. But his fanboys need to call it like it is.

I'm personally disappointed, but I understand it's a business and usyk Is human. You guys are his super fans, while I just admire him as a fighter.

If you are all happy to continue calling him the Goat, then happy days.

I'm going to leave this subject and enjoy the rest of the show mate!!

Well, if you remember, I never didn't call him THE G.O.A.T. I said he is uber-elite, and I don't really differentiate at that level. He's beaten the best cruisers and heavies of the last ten years, and nothing can mitigate that.

That's fine, but he's active and hasn't beat agit or parker

Can't compare him to someone like Ali who read out the Heavyweight division in 2 separate decades

Again if you guys have him user elite that's fine, but I'm not sure he's above Hopkins or bud. He's in that bracket with ward

    Ward is a good comparison.
Looks the part, cleared out, but limited depth

I think it'd be better for his legacy to add some more names rather than three rematches on his record. A Parker and/or Kabayel win for example would give him wins over the best heavyweights from two decades in Fury and Joshua for 2010s and Parker and Dubois for the 2020s.

Also I am biased in that I would like to see Parker get a chance a title next without having to go through another boogeyman or avoided fighter.
