The fact that LaMotta lived so long despite the number of fights and wars he had is amazing. And he wasn't some slick, defensive virtuoso who could avoid being hit. He was a fighter that didn't mind walking through punches to land his own.
that’s probably the exact friendly argument they’re having right now in some meadhall in Valhalla. Other fighters are joining in on one side or another.
Ah, no. For all he accomplished, to me he will always be the guy who beat Leon Spinks when Spinks was supposed to be the savior of the cruisers. So tough was this 5'6" LHW, that he is tied for #10 in our poll for GEORGE FOREMAN'S best wins... https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...re-george-foremans-top-ten-wins.728980/page-3 RIP, Buzzsaw!
Great fighter and great man, great LHW/CW and even okayish HW. 5ft 6 short reach but awesome defense and good punch he had. R.I.P WARRIOR!
the No.1 or No.2, Best LITTLE Bigman along with Langford. GOD Rest your Soul Dwight Braxton and thank you for some spectacular fights from a more pure time. Mercy.
