How would post-prison Mike do in today's HW scene?

Bruno was a Glass Jawed mental midget that was scared to death of a shot Mike Tyson. Tyson’s opposition post prison was laughable. He fought a bunch of stiffs then as soon as he stepped up and fought Holyfield he got stooped then quit in the rematch before he got stopped again.

 

I think even a post prison Tyson would do better against Usyk than what you're claiming.

Chisora won 4 rounds against Usyk on my card.

I think post prison Tyson would do well vs Usyk in the 1st half of the fight until Usyk takes over in the 2nd half of the fight.

Tyson at this stage was no longer a 12 round fighter and he was too much of a head hunter without his head movement he once had in the 80s.

But still I think Tyson is on even terms with Usyk for 6 rounds atleast but then after that Usyk wins a decision or possibly stops Tyson late.

A prime Tyson I would favour over Usyk without hesitation.

 

he was scared for a reason and of course holyfield had confidence the dudes traps were extra blimped up by “ vitamins “ and he had his forehead to help against mike.

90s diminished Tyson does well, loses to Usyk. We are talking the best version of post prison Tyson.

 

Pre prison is a menace to anyone in HW history. Not saying he'd win. But he'd be a live dog against anyone who wasn't mentally strong. Only the greats would be competitive. Dubois would melt in the press conference. AJ wouldn't even show up.

 

Tyson would do very well against this current crop of heavyweights. This is not a strong heavyweight division to be honest. The top heavyweights are now near the end of their careers, and the crop coming though don't show too much potential apart from mainly moses Itauma. Tyson from 1995 was way past his best, and yes the size of the heavyweights of today would pose a problem for him, but to be honest I think the heavyweights of today are too slow who don't use their jabs enough. You need a jab really to keep tyson away because when he finds his distance then he still put his punches together in bunches with great leverage even back in 1995.

 

Post prison Tyson would be the 2nd best heavyweight on the planet. I don't agree at all that he was shot, straight out of prison.

Alright, here’s the lowdown on post prison Mike Tyson. The guy stumbles outta the big house looking like a meat puppet glued together by some gym rat with too much time and no sense. Stiff as a board, and his head? Fuzzier than a peach pit in July. Still, he’s got enough boom to make you see fireworks, but the slick moves? Nah, he’s about as graceful as a drunken bull at a ballet recital.

Put him in today’s top 10 heavyweight mix and the poor slowpokes don’t stand a chance. Daniel Dubois? A walking can of gasoline with a short fuse. Tyson would swat him down like a bug on windshield before Dubois even finishes his ‘give me a break’ speech. Deontay Wilder? Big right hand, no follow-up game. Tyson's relentless swarm would have him spinning like a drunk trying to find the bathroom. Joseph Parker? Slow as molasses and all flash, no dash. Tyson could batter him into submission with a few rounds of short range mayhem.

But throw Tyson into the ring with slick movers like Oleksandr Usyk and suddenly it’s like watching a turtle chase a hare that’s hopped on rocket fuel. Those guys will jab, jab, jab until Tyson’s gas tank sputters and he’s looking for the exit sign.

Still, if fate’s feeling generous and one of these champs like Tyson Fury wakes up with their mojo still in bed, our Iron Mike could land that one old school haymaker and send ’em crashing faster than a tipsy driver through a neon lit intersection. So yeah, post prison Tyson’s like a shot of cheap whiskey: rough, unpredictable, and liable to floor you when you least expect it.

He fought Peter McNeely who was a nobody. who freaking said "I will wrap him in my cocooon of horror". Jumping around the ring after being knocked down.
He fought Buster Mathis who was a nobody effectively. He beat no one.
Bruce Seldon who did the appearently look where in the ring looked the softest to land on.
Frank Bruno who already had been knocked out before.

And while he was fighting these guys, Mike Tyson didnt look like Mike Tyson. He looked like of those guys in the boxing gym who tried to imitate mike tyson in these fights
