There was also a lot of: "Usyk does not deserve a heavyweight title shot. It doesn´t matter that he is widely considered one of the P4P best, and that he is the undisputed champion at 200, he has to earn the heavyweight title shot!"
A lot of people seemingly did not want Usyk at heavyweight, at all.

Also: They killed my boy! :xqwDamn, the infamous "talented" Hrgovic finally showed up. I know its Dave Allen, but damn, stopping him with the ease he did was impressive from Hrgovic.

Allen should stay at the British level and retire after maybe winning a British title

Hrgovic is slow, predictable, basic and clunky.

    Itauma KOes him easily.

Crawford is a better boxer than Usyk both skill wise and p4p.

Yes, everyone has easily beaten Hrgovic so far, both in amateur and professional competitions, so Itauma will do the same.

Talksport seemed to have him as even money. Good to hear the non-casuals had a better idea of levels.

Yeah I'm such a hater of Usyk I literally made this thread prior to the 1st Fury fight with the thread title.

"It's better for boxing if Usyk wins"

No he doesn't at all ?

The fact is he's a young Heavyweight with what appears to be a promising future.

We need new talent in the division the likes of Joshua, Fury, Usyk, are retiring soon.

It seems strange you don't want new talent to emerge for the next era of Heavyweights.

The division will get pretty boring fast without the likes of Usyk, Joshua, Fury, etc.

Usyk has been a gift from the gods, without him the division would be a mess. Also, thank you Tuki The Excellent, for sponsoring his championship run at Heavyweight.

The reason I like Usyk is because I used to debate here all the time that Heavyweights from 210+ pounds could compete in the modern era of Heavyweights.

And Usyk proved that to be true and then some.

Usyk isn't the biggest puncher but he's won fights being the smaller man by having superior skills and better conditioning down the stretch in his fights.

The reason I want Itauma to succeed once Usyk retires.

Is that Itauma seems to have the skills that are more custom to the older Heavyweights of the 90s.

That's why I don't get all the negativity for Itauma.

Yeah his personality is kind of boring but personalities don't mean a thing when you get inside the ring.

We need new talent for the next era of Heavyweights as the Usyk, Fury, Joshua, Wilder, era is coming to an end soon.
