Joe wouldnt have done anything in 2008 to move him up. Loosing to ODLH itself wont have an effect on Pac's p4p status, not winning a fight for the rest of the year when other fighters could be winning their fights would affect it though. However in this case, Joe wont be doing anything worthwile the rest of 2008 either.
I still would have Pac at 1 regardless of loosing.... Oscar is just too big, this fight doesn't mean a thing if Pac looses. But if Pac wins........
Pac losing to DLH should not drop him, sorry. It's like Calzaghe losing to Wlad Klitschko, I wouldn't drop him either.
I already rank Calzaghe ahead of Pac (I'm a fan of both). BUT, I don't believe a loss to DLH should lower Manny's standing. If I had Pac at #1 before that fight, I would not drop him down the list because of that loss.
if pac did not fight for the remaining of the year and wait for next year to fight at lightweight, i doubt anyone would put calzaghe as #1 in beating the shot rjj (except maybe TFFP and CHJ). i consider this as an exhibition fight for pac so it neither moves him up nor down the p4p standings.
Well that's more real and logical . . . if JMM beats Casa for the ring belt . . . Calzaghe should move down to #3. :deal
i think you have to live in the real world of boxing before you bigup your local hero. i know advertising clouds people's point of view and you can find 500k screaming welshmen to back you up - but its not going to happen.

Perhaps. Manny has already lost several times, Joe has never lost. I think Joe would have a relatively good case.
