I dont consider any of them to be all time greats even though some of them are top 10 or even top 5 in their best division but in my view none of them belong on an all time top 50 list.

Of that list James Toney is head and shoulders above the others in terms of skills and resume.

Morales, Barrera, Dela Hoya, Trinidad and Lamotta doesnt also belong to top 50. Are they not ATGs ?

Definitely Winky. He beat 2 hall of famers in Tito and Mosley and was the underdog in both fights. He also got a draw in the Taylor fight and landed more punches on Bernard even tho Hopkins landed the cleaner, stronger shots. Some people feel he should of gotten the decision on both Taylor and Vargas.

    :?

The General Forum really underrates James Toney, I think because he looks so fat at HW. He's absolutely Top 50 in my book.

I chose Wright (no pun intended). I'm not too familiar with James Toney's career eventhough from what I read he's at least a high level HOFer. Wright in my opinion is at least a high level HOFer. He was just so dominant at the time when he was beating Mosley, Trinidad, and Quartey, and drawing to the bigger Jermaine Taylor. It was his inactivity in the past few years that would ruin his chances to be a full fledge ATG despite having a long career 51W-5L-1D (57 total). His loss to then up and coming star Fernando Vargas was a close robbery. He was a slickster who in his later part of his career adopted a high guard defense that could shoot short quick jabs with either hand. It was an innovative weapon that Mosley, Trinidad, and Quartey could not deal with.

My favorite on the list is Kostya Tszyu, but despite fighting very good opposition throughout his career, he had only 33 fights. Calzaghe is great too, but his lack of great opposition at their prime is what made me choose Wright.

Calzaghe is a first ballot HOFer
