At the lower weights, he did have one-shot KO power. Fahsan 3K or Sasakul will tell you such.

True.....but at WW??? He's a decent size Jr WW at best but he's capable of competing and beating larger men due to his dynamic attributes.

Now this is a good discussion, people thinking outside of th box, this is like an impossible math equation that may have two different answers. We might have to wait until to the fight before we know his outcome I just didn't want people to assume Pac would be the harder puncher just for the **** of it

My next post will be about " what the does the Mosley v Mayweather fight say about Marquez?

Hatton was able to get up from the knockdown that your referring to which came 9 or 10 rounds into the fight where as Pac flattened Hatton in round 2 with a punch that the ref could have counted to 10 mins.

It really isn't debatable that Pac has the punching power advantage, (when objective reasoning is applied.)

    This is some crazy logic

Pacman is faster (which equals power), but Floyd has power (which must equal speed), accuracy and speed (which equals power) which trumps Pacmans power (which equals speed).

    I'm sorry... what?

Does your 'objective reasoning' factor in that the two incidents you are comparing are at different weights? Objective reasoning could lead one to believe that Hatton could have had better punch resistance at 147.

Anyone who actually applies 'objective reasoning' will clearly conclude that we cannot determine the answer to this, leaving us to speculate, or if you like 'debate'.

Are you arguing a technicality, semantics, or the notion that FMJ could just actually have an advantage in the puncher power department?

Mayweather hits harder at 147, as someone already mentioned before, Pac hits people with punches they don't see coming....thats different than hitting harder.

None of the above, I'm simply pointing out that none of us are in a position to conclude either way with any real conviction, 'objective reasoning' doesn't come into it.

The point extremely debatable, indeed all we can do is debate based on our own assumptions and speculation.

Personally, I've concluded with conviction, based on the given information, that Pac has in fact more punching power than FMJ, at 147. Although an exact scientific measurement is lacking in this caparison, there is by far and away enough circumstantial evidence to support the theory, imo.
