Sounds a bit negative there good buddy? On the plus side a) ITV are getting involved. b) David Price. c) cheap as chips - championship bouts. d) competition for other promotion companies... e) did I mention cheap?

Not a chance :risas3: no way, not happening.

You said you're buying it so I will assume you believe it's PPV worthy and I certainly don't so let's wait and see the PPV sales and all the numbers afterwards and see who was right or wrong, I honestly believe it will be a total disaster.

It is PPV worthy. It's 12 quid ffs. An entire night of bouts.

Optimus seemed keen, almost intelligible at times.. so six? someone called twentmen got quite upset earlier, I don't imagine he or she will be buying but it could just be for show - like denying Brexit.. six and half then...

You're wrong. The PPV portion will be four fights (well that's the plan at the moment anyway, I guess it go up to five/down to three).

    Ha, definitely not.

I'd be happy watching it on ITV as it's great having live boxing on terrestrial telly but it's not worth paying for.

I was going to reply to quite a few of these posts but it boils down to this, i didnt buy aj v molina on principle and i wont be buying this.
If it gets enough buys then expect the standard model to change some, the promoters will just keep serving dross up to test where the line is to be drawn.
F##k me hearn will have a field day if this is shown to be a success.

Great principle. You won't buy any boxing because of reasons and because some promoter somewhere will make some money. Having fun being a fan?

This dross being even remotely financially successful will set a bad precedent which will be damaging for the sport. I'm not going to contribute to that by buying the card. But of course people can do what they want with their own money.

Do you think this card represents good value for money?

Yep. 12 quid is virtually nothing. Price? Eubank? Ryder? easily worth it.

More to the point - can anyone say how this is NOT worth it? Other than generally feeling angry at having to pay some money. Surely not everyone is struggling to raise the funds, so why.

Good grief. If this is PPV worthy God help us. We'll be shelling out a tenner for every half-decent card on T.V. We'll end up paying hundreds of pounds a year just to keep up with the domestic scene! Nonsense.
