When is Syd Vanderpool gonna make his return~??

And is Olivier Lontchi ready to go to war~?? Cause I've seen Cecilio Santos fight on many of occasions... Always in crowd pleasing fights, and there's usually blood involved...

Guys Diaconu is gonna fight on the card! Against canadian David Whittom 10 (6) - 7 (1) - 1, non title fight at 187 catchweight. It's a good add, even if Diaconu will smoke him he will stay active and the highlights will be on Showtime. So it's a good move by Interbox to put him on the card I think, give exposure to Diaconu. 30$ for Bradley-Holt, Andrade-Tsypko + Diaconu is an awesome price!

Syd is retired and there will be no comeback. He is quite happy training fighters with his brother at his gym in Kitchener. I think he will also begin promoting pro shows in the K-W area by the end of the year. I believe he will do a lot for amateur boxing in Ontario. This weekend he will be hosting the Ontario Golden Gloves, and the Primetime Prospects Invitational (named for the late Mike Post, RIP). The Golden Gloves matches will feature 100 boxers from Ontario-based clubs, while the Primetime Prospects Invitational invites U.S. and Canadian boxers aspiring to turn professional to take to the ring in front of trainers, managers and promoters. The best Overall boxer will be awarded a $25,000 promotional contract, and will also be the feature fighter in the "Return to Glory" Pro show, scheduled for the fall.

Benoit Gaudet is off this weekend card. But it's for a good reason.

He is going to get a world title shot against Soto in May on the undercard of Pacquiao-Hatton!!!

    Congrats Gaudet and good luck!!!

Gaudet is in for a rough time against Soto. I hope for the best and he goes on to do a Guzman style UD on Soto but I fear a mid round knockout loss is coming.

Diaconu vs. pascal should be something. I might be persuaded to see it provided that the undercard is worth watching.

I think Gaudet will go down like Demers went down against Abraham. A walk-over

anyone hear anything more about the possibility of Troy Ross against Ola Afolabi? I read they might fight June 20th in Canada, but havent heard anything since. If it happens, it will be a very big week for Canadian boxing, with Pascal-Diaconu, Ross-Afolabi, and Molitor-Ruiz all happening between the 19th and 26th. Something tells me the Ross fight wont ahppen though.
