Holt and Bradley do not have a thriving fan base, otherwise they would be fighting in their hometowns.I suppose it makes sense for the local promoter to give it a shot when Showtime is probably paying for the main event fighters.Good luck,I hope it works out but I am not sure it will.

By the way, for those of you who are going to the Andrade v. TSYPKO!!! fight...will you cheer for Andrade as "the home fighter", or against him, or what?:think

    Hey Canadian dudes.

I remember reading about Adonis Stevenson somewhere a few months back. Does he look the real deal? From what I remember of the article (I've not see him fight), it said he had decent potential and he was a tricky southpaw who could bang but as he was turning pro old he wanted to progress quickly. Just had a quick look on boxrec and his record seems a little padded even at this stage. Any thoughts from you lot, who presumably have seen him fight?

I have to admit that I will have to choose between Bute vs Zuniga or Andrade vs Tipsko. Since I was at every fight Bute had in Montreal, I think that this time, I will have to stay home with a couple of buddies for the Bute optionnal fight and go see live this great event that everybody is surprised to have here.

Stevenson is nothing more than a good regional boxer. He won't do anything at a high level. Miranda type of boxer, much less dangerous. He seems to punch very hard but against anyone who can move, he's not able to get a ko. He's too old (31) to improve a lot. He's fun to watch though, so he will be on undercards as long as he wants to.

I want Andrade to win because I want the rematch to happen. But for me he's not a home fighter. Andrade said yesterday he will be ringside for the Zuniga-Bute fight. I'm pretty sure Bute, if he wins, will be at Tsypko-Andrade fight too. That's a good build-up for the rematch, don't you think?

Nice one. I'll stop getting excited then and just keep an eye out if he's on an undercard.

Well, Andrade or Tsypko. They both are fighters that I respect. It might be better for boxing if Andrade wins and gets his revenge but if Tsypko can beat Andrade... well, that would make him a pretty good opponent for Bute. So all in all, as long as the fight is great, I don't care who wins.

Good man, scorpy! :goodThat's how I look at it too, from a neutral perspective. As an Andrade fan, though, I want him to win. As a Bute fan, I want Andrade to win again, because I want Bute to rematch him. But that's just me. :conf

Even if the boxing world would like a revenge for Andrade against Bute, to make things clear between them, I for one, wouldn't mind to look past him and get moving to other things. As far as I know, Andrade will win, but if by any circomstances he looses, Bute will have an easier defence and he will be in a more comfortable situation to plan a unification. I mean, Tsypko just can't have a mule type head like Librado, so he could fall before the end....but that's a wish that probably won't happend.
