You could say the same about SRL when he fought only "1 Time" in 5 years before coming back with no tune ups and beating Hagler. When you're that good, when you are that big of a name, with big wins on your resume, you don't need tuneups to come back for big fights.

Bud's almost 36, but he's in his Prime. Remember when GGG fought Canelo and everyone said he wasn't in his prime anymore because you can't be in your prime at 35. Now age doesn't matter though. Meanwhile Thurman's 34. Here's one thing to remember, he might not have looked great when he came back last year, but some fighters are motivated by big fights. If Bud accepted Thurman's challenge you know damn well Thurman will get in the best shape of his life and a fully fit Thurman is a nightmare for Bud.

Keith called out Bud. If you're saying Keith should fight young up and coming prospects first, it suggests you're scared of what Thurman would do to Bud if they fought next. See what would happen is everyone would favor Bud and say Thurman has no chance. Beacuse that's what fans do since he'll be seen as P4P #1 given his resounding win over a depleted Spence. People will ignore that Spence hasn't been the same since the car crash, but real boxing fans know. Then Thurman will surprise everyone (the fans who DKSAB) and give Bud the fight of his life. He may not win, but it'll probably go the distance and be a very controversial decision just like all other big fights Keith has ever been in.

Look I'm all for Bud fighting Jermell at 154, or Canelo at 168. But in the meantime they are fighting. Is Bud gonna defend his Undisputed WW Titles? If so Thurman is the man to fight next. Canelo and Jermell are fighting Sept 30th. So the earliest a possible Bud Jermell or Bud Canelo fight could happen is next year. But Bud vs Thurman at WW could happen later this year, if Bud wants it. I don't think he wants it though do he.

crawford is levels above danny g thurman porter spence. Its not even close. never was. They ducked crawford and blamed him. Didnt you hear the post fight interviews? crawford was near tears because of that.

Level with me. Whatever your feelings are on Thurman vs Bud, that would be a huge fight and a very interesting fight for Bud. I can't say whether or not those guys ducked Bud in the past, but back then Thurman was in bigger fights than Bud ever was and that's a fact. Also you gotta remember back then Top Rank guys didn't fight PBC guys like they do now. Now Thurman is calling him out and the fight makes sense now more than ever.

does thurman have a belt? Thought you said crawford was an old man? crawford will do as he pleases now. when he gets those belts at 154 he will get canelo at 160. Been telling everybody for over a year. im not diverting from what i saw. Why do you think crawford was taughnting charlo after knockdowns. hes coming. charlo having nightmares and ptsd. daddy AL gonna make it happen

Honestly i would like to see it. But Thurman has just been too inactive, and the fight would have zero relevance. But, if Thurman would step up and beat Boots, it would be fire
