he means would you rather a fighter be more active over their careers or like the elites today, fight once every 6 months, and that once is usually a big fight.
for me I'd rather see a fighter just keep busy and fight about 5x a year, mixing not great and great competition. Whether it's a stiff, a good journeyman, a very good fighter, or an elite fighter. "Fighters fight." So yes I agree prospects should be showcasing their ability and putting out their body of work often to win fans and keep fans.

I don't know if i started to notice this more or it some coincidence but it seems like this happen a lot this week. We have Bradley being picky about opponents. And if anyone should 1 not be picky about opponents and 2 fight as much as possible to create a name it is Bradley. Then we have Sergio's promoter saying that GGG is not a name and done nothing to deserve a fight with Martinez when just last month Sergio was in the same position. I know money and postion and blah blah blah make a diffrence but i think some of these guys could benifit from momentum as well.
10 fights on the way up and then at their peak quality fights against well matched quality fighters. What we normally get in 1 fight against some bull**** fighter who does not have a chance.
I thought all fighters put out a lot of work their first 3 years or so as pros then tapper off and be ***s fighting only once in a while. One fight a month is good for everyone not on the really big money. eg 12 fights a year. Bring back the Olden Days If they ever 'make it' earning $10 000 000 per fight then they can become Poofters and fight only 2-3 times per year I have not address opponent quality for a reason because I thing a boxer should fight everyone there is to fight plenty of bums and greats if they can get the match's
what constitutes a "mega" fight? a mega HYPE? If that's the case I'll take the 10 fights all day every day
10 fights over any 1 fight if decent opposition is in the 10 fights but I'll take 3 mega fights vs Elite caliber opponents over 10 vs top 10 guys who aren't elite.
