118 countdown show is hillarious

Just watched it and I always love these kind of shows, but one thing I wished they had more of was footage of the Florian vs. Maynard fight. That, to me, is either the most interesting fight on the card, or tied/just below the Main Event. That is a fantastic fight and I'm looking forward to it more then any other on the card. Easily.

IMO that was the best part of the countdown. Sounds like twista rapping when Toney talks! You can barley make out what he's saying!

 

It really would'nt matter. No way he could be anywhere near Randy's level with any trainer in the next few years. If he wins it will be with a punch.

 

Translation:

"Why is this sweaty half naked guy rollin on the ground with me tryin to grab my **** instead of hitting me?"

 

I think all they should have trained Toney in during this short amount of time is submission defence, and a DAMN GOOD SPRAWL!!

 

He's been trolling for as long as I've seen him here. If it were up to me, and lucky for him it's not, he'd be banned from his sub-forum until he can come back with something that isn't childish to say.

Boxing fanatics are incredible...you can correct them 1000x over and they still won't get it...I'm still trying to figure out if they are simply unable to grasp anything that isn't punching or they don't want to.

*Sigh* Luckily, wrestling isn't just shooting from the outside, so he can try and learn to sprawl all he wants...not going to help him a tremendous amount. I didn't even wrestle in school but damn, even I know it's hugely more complex then the enormously simplistic view that some of the....people on here have.

Edit - Not to say that you're a boxing fanatic, in the way that I'm talking about, but it's a pretty common in response to countering wrestling...not nearly that easy or simple.

 

Sprawling against Couture is useless. He is a greco-roman wreslter meaning he wants an upper body clinch. He doesn't shoot for the legs.

 

I was just saying it is the only 2 things that could remotely help Toney in the fight.:good Especially with the limited amout of time he has, I would'nt bother showing him armbars seeing how Randy would shrug off any attempt at a Toney submission. Randy is so skilled, Toney's only hope is to land quick and hard.

 

Pretty much. Has to be a 1 punch KO, really.
