Got to love Rampage showing the class there giving Machida props, AND being a man and offering a rematch! Rampage earns so much respect and props for that in my book.

I had Machida winning rounds 1 & 3 but the first was close.

I had it even, thought rd 1 could have gone either way, 2 for rampage, 3 for machida.

I thought Machida clearly inflicted more damage, Rampage initiated and instigated.. Machida controlled the distance but didn't pull the trigger enough, he waited a very long time to commit to a counter, but when he did, boy did he land clean..

Wish he pulled the trigger more. Rampage spent so much time stalking and putting his ass on the line that its hard to not give him credit, considering it was clear Machida was looking to counter.

First 2 rd were tight but no way anyone could give Machida either rd. Jackson was the aggressor and stole both. Possibly a draw for one of the rds........ Machida winning big in the 3rd proves the scoring in MMA is ****.

I had Jackson 29-28 although 90% of us probably think Machida won the fight overall if that makes sense

Makes sense. Pride, maybe Machida would have been yellow carded. But no round scoring would have meant he ended up inflicting the most damage, went for a sub, got the thai clinch and landed some knees, and was closer to finishing Rampage than Rampage was to finishing him..

By UFC Criteria, I think it should have been a draw. But yeah, in the general sense, if there is one for a fight anymore, I felt Machida won it. I think Rampage thinks so too.

    Rd. 1 - Machida
    Rd. 2 - Rampage
Rd. 3 - Machida (only real clear round)

I probably would have been fine with a draw, but Rampage did not win that fight.

Best UFC event in a while though.

Edson Barboza is a name to remember. This guy is going to make waves in the lightweight division.

That liver kick and knee that Machida landed in round one were the hardest shots of the round. Rampage won round two by connecting with some solid shots. Machida came back and dominated Rampage in round 3.

good event tonight. bj looked great, think the rampage machida fight was hard to call, machida took the 3rd, but the other two rounds were hard to split. saying that i think they should always reward the guy that is going forward and trying to push the pace a bit. i think if machida should have gone for it a bit more in the first two, and really tryed to put his mark down early.

If you think that's true you have no idea about the fight scene in Australia.

I'm in the fight scene in Australia. look 90% of people think the sport is called ufc not MMA and when you let them it is a promotional company not a sport there shocked. White doesn't give a flying **** about Australia and putting bisping show how little he cares. how many times does that guy have to get beat to show he is not a top fighter. look UFC is new a shine in OZ, So you could put anybody in there and it will sell tickets because most of the people don't know anything about it, It is event to go to and you will see fighting. Until it become MMA in this country not UFC and people go to see match up like boxing and thai fighting not an once a year event like the UFC is in town you are going to Dana whites match ups that will not do good number in the USA. **** Dana White and UFC, there corupt and not paying there fighters right.
