thank god some wlad fans on here can see that although wlad is a very good boxer and he will beat everyone in his division, we are talking about someone who did the same against some of the best heavyweights ever.

that hook he took against frazier was sick, that would have knocked out most heavyweights, shavers was a power house of a puncher, fcuk he even got his jaw broken against norton and kept fighting and oming forward, and for people who have said that wlad is an overall better fighter than ali,

if you watch this and still think so you need your head examined - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oD99VbFzqAg&feature=related

    absolute perfection :bbb :good

Wlads defense? Wlads defense is for ****, he got caught with haymaker type punches from Peter. Ali had power, he had great snap at the end of his right hand. Wlad has been rocked by a Brewster jab in there first fight, his legs buckled and he had clinch to weather the storm in the 3rd round. I cant see Wlad beating a true champ like Ali, he ruled in the toughest era of Heavyweights, Wlad rules in one of the worst eras.

if you think no one in the 70s had the skill and amateur pedigree as wlad than you need to research ali, the most skilled heavyweight of all time.

you say about the right hand that felled brock but what about foremans right and left hand that dropped frazier no less than 6 times. maybe that would trouble wlad whos chin is like has already been established very poor for a HW

I cant say for sure its the worst, but it more in likely is. As I already argued a couple months back in a thread I started, Wlad would not survive in the 90s, he would be on his back more than Jenna jameson. If I had to guess, he would be a slight step above a Tommy Morrison if he was in his prime in the 90s IMO.

Are you crazy? You are using logic to solve this argument? Klitschko is bigger, therefore he would beat any boxer ever, especially wimpy Ali. :p

You could go into more detail, too, like Jab effectiveness, punch speed, punch accuracy, defense, "adaptiveness", etc.... Oh wait, but Klitschko has a 1" reach advantage and is bigger, OMG hold on Klit wins KO1 :nut .

I thought that when I read the post too...heavweights in the 70's that were gold medallists - Patterson (still active up to 1973 I think) Ali, Foreman, Frazier...of course they didn't all win their gold medals at heavyweight but were all active heavies in the 70's. How many gold medallists are there in the heavyweight division now?

    Yes, this is true.

Wlad has those intagibles: hairstyle, nice guy, muscles, plays a mean game of chess, is a Doctor, KOed the Boxing Banker, etc...

I'm not crazy but your logic sure is. Bigger doesn't mean better. Ali wimpy? WTF. Go study your boxing some more before you embarass your self more.

Ali takes his time and uses his superior speed and intelligence to wear out Waldo for a mid rounds stoppage.
