And if average punchers like Lyle can take Foreman to hell and back......Foreman is as easy to hit as Bowe and Bowe hits way harder than Lyle

how does foreman has better conditioning?
i never saw him going hard 12 rounds at pace like bowe-holyfield 1.

and,c'mon,i mean bowe is not sweet pea as far as defense, but definitely has better defense than foreman.

I think Bowe may have indeed been looking for the DQ in the first fight, I remember between rounds it did sound like that when he was complaining to the ref...however he showed a ton of heart in the rematch. He got the **** kicked out of him and kept taking more punishment. He would come back and land his own shots, but was obviously getting outlanded.

I think Golota might have been hurt by that right hand that Bowe landed about a minute before the DQ.

Bowe showed plenty of fighting heart in the Holyfield trilogy too. But I don't think it would be enough against Foreman. Bowe's defense from the outside makes it hard for me to pick him against Foreman. Bowe could show a decent defense at times on the inside with his angles and some head movement, but was far worse defensively from the outside

I would favor Foreman to stop Bowe.

First of all I'd hardly call those guys "average" in the hitting department. Secondly I don't recall Tyrell Biggs ever having Bowe hurt, dropped or ever in any seriously trouble. Third those men possessed the type of styles that made for "landing" on Bowe with more regularity and one of them fought Bowe when his career was on the slide.. Lastly, Foreman was decked twice by Lyle, once by Jimmy Young and worn down and stopped by a past it Ali, so this logic can work the same way in reverse.

Bowe could not come out like he did against Gonzalez. Even though Bowe demolished Gonzalez Bowe in general he takes a lot of hits. Bowe would have to pump that jab because lets not forget how scary Foreman was with his own jab.
The inside would be interesting, I think Bowe would surprise Foreman on the inside with his strength and technique.

Both had limited defenses & Foreman's offense was a bit part of his defense.

I cannot fathom ANYONE saying Bowe hits "way harder" than Lyle.
Bowe may have been better than Lyle, but Foreman described him as one of the 3 hardest hitters he ever faced, you would go numb with his shots.

I do not think Bowe hit as hard as Lyle.
