I went with Louis via TKO victory. But he’d have to survive a dangerous storm early. This would be a super fight

In my opinion, if Joe can get Mike into the 7th round or deeper, he stops Mike. So can he do that? Well, even Rocky, fighting a shell of Louis, couldn't get him out of there before the 8th round. I doubt if any fighter ever born could get Louis out of there before the 8th round. I see Louis stopping Tyson late, possibly coming off the floor to do it. As an added comment, I don't see how Tyson's style is poison for Louis. Joe was very adaptable and could function as a boxer or puncher, quite effectively.

Mike couldn't have dealt with the greatest, heaviest combination puncher in the history of the sport. Only Ali, Liston, and Holmes had a better jab, and Joe would NOT have been intimidated.

I think Joe might have been floored at some point, though.

Lesser fighters have put Joe on the canvas. Mike may be the one to keep him there. And he was better than Max Schleming at his best.

Mike Tyson takes joe out early, too fast, better defense, and hits too hard with both hands. Tyson also has underrated punch accuracy and a better chin. Louis’ lack of foot speed allows mike to close in pretty early, but mike definitely eats some leather getting the ko.

Tyson´s head movement could be timed by a guy like Louis.. it´s not about speed, power and all that... it´s about what you can see in the ring, little things like when to time the guy´s head...
