You seem to forget that we're talking about a prime, or very near prime, Mike Tyson, one of the greatest defensive heavyweights who ever lived.

I watched the fight a couple times, he pains me to see Tyson beat like that. He took alot of punishment in that fight, especially towards the end when Manny told Lewis to "get this motha ****er out of there," thats when his right hand entered more into the equation. Its hard to tell, but either way he stood in there and took the ass whooping for 8 rounds. I just wish that fight happend even in 96, I think Tyson would have at least put up a more competitive fight IMO.

Yes but you seem to be a bit confused here in that you think that we're talking about a 1990 Holyfield hitting the version of Holyfield that Toney faced :rofl :rofl :rofl

You're a ****ing idiot son, go to bed, please.

Maybe he would yeah, Lewis wasn't as good in 96 as he was when he met Tyson...but any version of Tyson post-prison just wasn't the same as the version from the late 80's, just not the same man at all, which is why prime Tyson always beats prime Holy.

Very true, Tyson was never the same after his prison stay. I think a prime Tyson beats both a prime Holyfield and Lewis, but Tyson prime was really only 3 years 86-89, once he got rid of Rooney and company Tysons discipline got worse and he was surrounded by more "yes men" than anything. I just have a strange feeling Tyson is going to make another comeback, I guess nows the best time to do it, looking at how weak the divsion is.

That didnt stop George Foreman, in boxing anythings possible. I have a feeling you will see Tyson and Holyfield fight again, and dumbass people like myself will buy it on PPV just to see Tyson fight again.:yep

Foreman and Holyfield had fire. Tyson is spent. But then again, there could be some money to be made.

Tougher fight to call than most would assert. Most are quick to say Tyson based on his track record in the given time period. Keep in mind, many of his "victims" were tailor made for Tyson. I believe Holyfield FRUSTRATES any version of Tyson by virtue of his tactics, his infighting and his overstated "indomitable spirit". I say Holyfield UD or late TKO.

Yeah, I agree with you there. Tyson's only reason for coming back would be for the big paycheck, which doesnt seem to add up well for him in the ring. Tyson still has a name, and has a huge following around the world. If Tyson got back with Rooney and started getting back to the basics, he might do well fighting fighters outside the top 20 and maybe after a couple years like Foreman did fight a guy with a belt for 20 or 30 million, im sure golden boy would sign him up, they love picking up old legends.

If Tyson got back together with Rooney they'd hold camp in a bar and do roadwork to the liquor store.

 Well they both need money, with the right training and management Tyson could get another crack at the belt, have him fight every 3 months, start him off fighting guys like Julius Long then Tarus Sykes then rematch Danny Williams, and work his way up from there, to set him up for a title shot in 2 years or for a Holyfield rematch.

tyson is done. when he fought mcbride i thought maybe there was a chance at him being remotely successful. he has no desire to fight anymore, and his will to fight and hurt was what made him so great in his prime
