Douglas was not a bum, he was an extremely talented heavyweight that was focussed and had done insane preparation for the fight while Tysons training consisted of sleeping with Japanese whores. Amazing how you can give WALDO the "ill-prepared" excuse when discussing Sanders or Purrity but give Tyson no leeway at all.
Holyfield by KO-Holyfield had better endurance,Tyson after 3 or 4 rounds was not nearly as dangerous, as early in the fight, Holy was more durable, and was way more mentally stronger:yep Evander would break Tyson and stop him in 9, Holy had Tyson's number, they could fight 10 times and Holy would be 10-0
Vitaly was the second best heavywt alive when Lennox defeated him. Neither guy was particularly well prepared for his opponent that night. (By the standards of fifty years ago, both were well prepared) Lennox handed Vitaly his first real decisive defeat, but Vitaly did well in the fight and showed that he belonged at that level. That was the end of Lewis' prime. IMO, he chose not to rematch because he felt he probably wouldn't win and he didn't want to risk his legacy. Prime for Prime, Lennox beats any version of either Klitschko. I rank prime Lennox at #3 or 4 Alltime. And though i'm a fan of both Klitschkos, I don't rank either one in the top 10 list, yet. Douglas was a great example of what could have been. He was a one-trick pony, but he could have been much more. The Tyson from three years earlier, with or without the Japanese *****, would have killed Holy. Any who doubt that can't have been there when Tyson was the beast.

87 Tyson was an animal, I'd be hard pressed to pick anyone over him besides prime Ali, Foreman, or Liston.
I still cant believe that there are people out there that believe ANY version of Mike Tyson beats Evander Holyfield.....boggles my mind.
For some, it would be mind-boggling to imagine any version of Evander lasting much longer that Michael Spinks did on the night he faced Tyson.
Let's not forget Holyfield was connected with Steroids. I'll go with Tyson against an unroided Holyfield in 1990. I wish somebody had film of their sparring match when Holyfield was on the olympic team and Tyson was an alternate.
