91 Foreman was big, powerful and strong. He also had a solid chin and would dwarf Louis in size. And before you say Holyfield beat Foreman, Holyfield used lots of lateral movements that Louis typically didn't employ.

This is going to be a massacre, and it is going to be horrible.

Louis used a **** load of power, that Holyfield typically didn't deploy.

I see Louis marking up and damaging Foreman but I don’t see a stoppage. Comeback Foreman had a head like an anvil.

Love Big George including old Big George but you are sending him against as peak as it gets Joe Louis. I think Louis busts him up and closes his eyes and it gets stopped.

Old Foreman would be better than Buddy Baer and he put Louis through the ropes

I wouldn’t even favour prime Foreman in this. Remember when Holyfield landed nearly twenty unanswered punches on Foreman? With half the power & a noticeably lesser handspeed than Louis? Foreman will get killed here at some stage or another.

I think so, not to diminish George of course but it’s a styles thing. Louis might be one of the worst stylistic matchups for George due to his combination of precision, accuracy, power, handspeed, timing, countering ability, and arguably being the greatest combination puncher the heavyweight division has ever seen.

Louis isn't going to blast Foreman out, particularly not Old Man Foreman. The dude had a top shelf chin. He's got the speed to land at will but does he have the defence to slip everything that Foreman throws back at him? I've seen Louis slip and duck beautifully before and I've also seen him get touched up by punches that he should not have been hit by. I think a big factor will be Old Foreman's jab. Yeah, its slow but his timing was good, it was very long and it was a thudding punch which he could throw all night long. If Louis wins it will probably be on points and pretty wide. If Foreman wins, I think he grinds Louis down and stops him late.

Louis on points as Old Foreman never got knocked down, uses level changes and gives ground to counter Foreman’s jab who wouldn’t be able to get out of the way of the quick counters as he wasn’t very quick in terms of reflexes at that point, Louis may use his own jab and feints to bait Foreman into committing so he can counter.
