40-50 years ago lets see which champions were fighting approaching/at 38 years of age. rocky Marciano, retired at 36...therefore no theres no way he would be rematching someone aged 38. Ali, had his last meaningful HW title fight at age 35 or 36 maximum, so didn't rematch anyone at age 38. Holmes, last hw title fight at age 35..nowhere near 38. So NO, it would not have happened 40-50 years ago at all, because IT NEVER DID ANYWAY, apart from JUST ONE instance in HW history - with ezzard Charles, the oldest hw champ of that time. IT WAS CLEARLY AND BLATANTLY NOT THE NORM FOR SOMEONE AGED 38 TO REMATCH SOMEONE FOR THE HW TITLE
herol, this is a pretty darn good post, did termite inspire you by claiming all your posts were garbage??? anyways, I am impressed, I wasn't at first, I was disappointed at first as I only came in here hoping to MOCK your post. Then I find this fairly decent post so I was disappointed but then I felt good anyways as I felt proud of you little buddy. Little tip, lay of long lines of CAPs, it somehow diminishes the power of the CAP, you are using words like WAS and IS in CAPs, that's wasting the CAP power. Seriously Herol, if I ever catch you using a full line of CAPs on this forum out comes the STRAP
Latineg, I agree with your post. It was a little disappointing not to read the classic "kliturd self destructs" line.
lmao,,,,, would of been way funnier if you would of used real CAPs instead of simply enlarged text. Little tip for next time fcuk puppet :rasta
not sure what u say but why do you keep trying to answer with the knowledge u r clearly and deservedly in my ignore box.
not sure what your point is but why do you keep trying to reply to me when I am deservedly in your ignore box?
Some of the replies and reposts on here are sheer comedy gold...to my 2 pence worth, a 6 yrs younger LL would not be blowing out his **** by the 4th round and would be cracking Vit with far more combos as oppose to single shots that would likely bring about Klits demise even quicker. I'm actually of the opinion that Vlad is a far more dangerous match up than his older brother H2H as he has a better offensive ****nal and is far less easy to hit.
latin eg you still appear to be replying to me but I cannot hear whatyou say. I wonder why do you answering, its as if you are pretending you are not on ignore when you have seen the evidence that you are in my ignore box. one day I might get curious enough to read what you write, but for now please remember where you are.
Lewis of 1997 probably beats Vitali, but again, it's quite a tough fight. Vitali isn't a basket case fraught with nerves like Andrew Golota or Oliver McCall, but Lewis was much more in his prime in 97 than 2003 so injury stoppage or points decision.
for 2 or 3 months he keeps claiming i am on ignore yet he keeps replying to me He doesn't understand how his ignore function works or the concept
prime for prime I always see a great fight and a Lewis win. I think Lewis had faster speed overall compared to Vits and would always have a slight advantage because of it. That said I think Vits is a great fighter himself and with a few well placed punches take a win. Simply put I would bet on Lewis rather than Vits. I think Lewis's speed gets a bit under rated on here. I think its because when Lewis gets tired he slows down to the point of looking slower than others. He after all is huge and when tired lumbers around he like a slow looking fella. When the heat is on however, its surprising how fast he was imo :bbb
Don't mean to sound like a sycophantic toady, but that's another good post Latineg. I myself favour Vitali, but I can understand, especially after the way their actual fight went, why people pick Lewis. Either way it would have been a great fight and I think that they are more closely matched than most people want to admit. :yep
