they haven't gotten all the numbers yet. They said the current number is at 2.2 million and that is their projection, but they said the final number will be higher.
Let's analyze this for a moment. You think Floyd is boring and feather-fisted, yet you are watching the fight anyway. And that folks is what we call another sucker Floyd has in his back pocket.
I payed for ppv and watched the fight live, because I thought this time floyd is fighting heavy handed fighter with no stamina, I was hoping that canelo will land something big and if not, floyd will go for a kill , after canelo gets tired, unfortunately fight was as boring as most of floyds fights . I'll never pay for his fights again. Garcia vs mathysse wasn't a bad fight, but overall august 16 FNF was a better event than "the one".
A little advice for you. Watch more boxing. Eventually you will get to a point that when you watch a fight you will know exactly what your getting before hand. Floyd's power is NOT what it was a the lighter weights. It is what it is. I can respect a fighter for knowing his limitations. Floyd's fights will always go the distance and will always be more clinical regardless of the opponent. I don't blame Floyd for doing what has gotten him to 45-0 and to become the face of boxing. I blame the opposition for not getting him out of his comfort zone.
So that is what you tell yourself whenever you do anything that involves Floyd. Everything makes a difference genius. That is what you don't get. Watch a replay of his fight or all access on TV and it adds to his ratings. Watch either or just some random clips on youtube and it adds to his views. Google his name, click on a boxing report about him, or discuss about him in a forum and it adds to his relevance. You may think you're getting some kind of moral victory by not paying for a PPV when TBH all you're doing is keeping his paychecks fat regardless because of all the things I've listed above. That is the way the business world works son. The most effective way to hurt Floyd is to IGNORE and NOT tune in. But you can't do that can you. How else can you ***** and complain unless you watch him? So in ending I'll say this. To you, Floyd is boring and feather-fisted, yet you tune in anyway in some shape or form. So in all honesty, who's the dumbass? You dumbass.
My prediction always was Mayweather UD , I knew it, but was expecting some fireworks in other words something more than a boring sparing session.
All bias posts aside, I am sure this fight did really well. Canelo was a huge draw and was seen as a legitimate threat to Floyd. It's the next few fights I would worry about if I were Showtime. Without a clear threat on the horizon, not many ordinary fans are going to shell out $75 to watch Floyd do his thing against a no hoper.
