I can't see Haye beating Holy. Haye aint knocking him out that's for sure.

I couldn't see Williams beating Hearns right now. I need to see a bit more of Williams cause it seems to me that he's still improving. But most likely even Williams' best won't beat Hearns.

this is a stupid thread...you have got to be insane to think Haye or Williams has a shot against those two

but funny enough...i think theres a bias for everyone here about older legendary boxers...

just wait around 10 or 15 years when a new slickster boxing star arises there will be

Prime Mayweather vs. SO and SO...

everyone would be saying "no can touch him"

Sure, but one of the reasons for such biases is that guys like Hearns and Holyfield (err... almost) have finished their careers and accomplished what they have. They've shown their worth and have a body of work to back up their raw talent. Haye likely can have success at Heavyweight, but we haven't truly seem him prove it yet. Once he does, then he will have more credibility in a mythical fight against Holyfield.

Williams really hasn't shown me anything to suggest he would be beating Hearns.

its funny how fighters get hyped and instantly become great. haye might be good and entertaining but how could he ever have a shot at holyfield at cruiserweight? how? holyfield has been with the biggest punchers ever and he surely could punch. if mormeck almost takes haye out in the back then biggest fight of his life, what would holyfield do to him?
Destroy him. Im sure 100 times out of 100 holyfield would win, and i dont think haye would see the final round many times, possibly none.

It's idiocy like this that fuels arguments about old-timer bias. Haye definitely picks up a win in 100 fights.

I am not biased towards old school fighters but holyfield was a beast at cruiserweight, have you seen him fight before he moved up?
He is an altime great at heavyweight and he was a beast at cruiser too! Im not talking about anyone, im talking about the real deal and I believe he would crush haye. Simply because i see holyfields style being all wrong for haye. I think haye is good but that he will lose within 3 fights. Mark my words.

Haye could fight the other three all at once and it would be like a scene from THE MATRIX.

But in all seriousness, Williams has a better chance against Hearns than Haye would against Holyfield's iron jaw and will.

Anything can happen in a fight and upsets are always possible.

So, On the Cuchulain probability scale:

    Haye by KO: 10%

    Haye by decision: 5%

    Draw: 3%

    Holy by decision: 12 %

    Holy by KO: 70 %

    Williams by KO: 5%

    Williams by decision: 3%

    Draw: 3%

    Hearns by decision: 6%

    Hearns by KO: 83 %

So you believe Haye would lose to Holyfield 100 out of 100 times. Heh... even Margarito could get himself a split decision win over Mayweather if they fought 100 times.
