I am inclined to agree although i don't think Roy's size is the issue. Rather its the low hands and over reliance on reflexes plus not too outstanding chin that's the issue.

I am sure there are guys who weighed between 190-200 lbs would have a better chance of making the distance, like Toney or Marciano.

Agree that Foreman eventually catches him.

The truth is that Foreman would never take a fight like this. He made Tommy Morrison look like Roy.

Yeah I feel people are discounting just how much faster roy is compared to foreman, its like a racehorse vs a fxcking turtle.

Smart of you to use “racehorse” so that some halfwit Foremaniac couldn’t pop in asking if the hare won the race.

Either Jones wins every second until the bell sounds for the end of the 12th, or he wins every second until he doesn’t.

The size disparity would be massive and I don't see Roy taking Foremans bombs for 12 rounds either as Foreman was still very capable of knocking your head into the 5th row. I'm taking Foreman by TKO9.

I agree. In my opinion James Toney deserves more credit for his run at heavyweight

He wouldn’t need to take “Foreman’s bombs” because I highly doubt he’d really land that many if any, he’d touch down sometimes but RJJ would see it coming and that’s a major aspect of taking a punch, the best KO shots are basically as anticipated as a sucker punch…

I don't think you really understand how good Foreman still was in 1990. I'll leave it at that.

It's a fight where Roy will look good, and will be out boxing Foreman but will have to get it right 100% of the time to survive and get a decision win.

And he won't, because this version of Roy won't be capable of that. The vastly experienced Foreman will land something big at somepoint and it will all be over.

I didn’t say Roy Jones would win, I just don’t think he’s getting hit that much.
