Not as bad as Hopkins having people believed he could go to Heavyweight to beat Oleg Maskaev when he was a champ.

I dunno, its probably worse when you consider Pavlik/Dawson's whiskers and defence compared to Hopkins.

Santos is a very good boxer. He showed that by beating Alcine.

I don't really understand what you're trying to say. So you think Calzaghe is more talented than all of those fighters? Jones pretty much cleaned out 175 besides DM.

Mayweather is miles ahead of Tito P4P

Tito was schooled by Wright, Hopkins, RJJ and DLH - Mayweather has never looked like losing.

Gamboa could turn out to be great, he needs to sort out his defence though. At the moment he's pretty much blasting everyone out and defence doesnt matter too much but it will when he steps up a level.

It's a double edged sword though, because the hands down style is a major part of his offense and his unpredictability. It's hard to see those type of shots coming.

His reflexes are very good, he only really been caught with that one shot that put him down off balance, and he wasn't fighting a mug considering it was his 10th fight.

I think we have to accept he might be vunerable at times, the question is if his chin will stand up to it. I think he'll overwhelm a lot of guys anyway and let his reflexes work as defence, he's that talented.
