Probably Wlad would win. I thought Fury completely schooled 2015 Wlad though. So maybe Fury could pull off a MD or something on a younger Wlad?
He doesn't need to be prime. I think the Wlad from the Joshua fight knocks him out. Wlad was much looser and let the fists go there, unlike vs Fury.
Fury saw Wlad was serious for the rematch and wanted no part of him. The presser with "Sorry, Tyson is stuck in traffic and his cell battery just died" was a classic excuse for the history books of boxing.
There was a beautiful right down the pipe in the 12 that caught Fury on the button. Had he done this earlier then it would have settled him and he would have stopped him, I'm sure of it. Think it was a perfect storm of circumstances for Wlad.
Everyone keeps talking about when Wilder-Joshua will get made...I think it will most likely never happen, or at least not for a very long time, as I believe Fury is going to beat Wilder.
And if Wilder sleeps him, can we put it to bed that Fury was indeed a footnote one fight wonder who held the title very briefly after possibly the worst championship fight in history?
but the OP said if he'd been throwing early ie in 2 he would have ended it. i dont follow. its got to be one or the other, not defeatist either way.
