JMM would have problems making 130. He could make it but it would hurt him and he wouldnt be at his best there.

The fight isnt happening because of the differences in weights, but it would be a very marketable fight from the brothers revenge angle.

Ignoring the issue of making weight for JMM, I think he beats JML, probably by knock out. For one his defense is better than Rafa and he doesnt get into brawls in the same manor. Now he was getting hit a lot by Diaz the first fight until he made adjustments which I didnt like but he wasnt sloppy about it.

You figure that Rafa is smaller than Lopez and has been inactive and had an injury and he gave him problems. Rafa took ALOT of shots and took them well but they were accumulating. JMM has a better chin and has been dropped by the likes of Pac and FMJ and gotten back up. Little lopez aint knocking him out. JMM can outbox lopez and he can also use the right hand well.

It's pretty convincing so far that if they by chance should meet in 2011 at Super Featherweight, JMM would obliterate Juanma.

If Marquez could make it I would easily favour JMM but Lopez is an excellent fighter. One thing that stood out to me though is that he is slow as ****.

    No .................

Its un realistic , Marquez cant make 130 no more and Juanma has his hands full at FW !!!

If it was to happen Marquez would blitz him , no doubt !!!

Well JML is the one calling him out so he should go to 135 and then he can pick up some titles at LW if he wins. Otherwise they can make it at a catchweight of 133 with no titles obviously.

I really doubt Bob would want that though. He would want a fight at 131 with LW titles included.
At top rank they call it A la Pac. Its french for bull**** title fight

JMM is just a better fighter and would beat JML regardless a catchweight or 135. I would be more interested in seeing a Rafa rematch. I kept wondering why the right hand wasnt being thrown much. The end of the fight basically confirmed it. Also can we not have Weeks give JML time to recover when he is hurt?? That point deduction should have waited till the end of the round.

I feel that Rafa showed he can hang with JML and who knows what he would do with a good right shoulder.
