If Lara is looking for a marketable fight he should move up and challenge GGG :good He's far more likely to get him in the ring than Mayweather or Canelo
people who voted GGG need to realize that he was a nobody internationally until the HBO hype-storm look at the difference US network backing has made...before that he was just another felix sturm in the making
I think its GGG but Keith Thurman deserves a mention I can't see to many Welterweights that are thrilled to fight him at the moment and what makes it more scary is he is getting late KO/TKO's
It's a tricky choice for potential opponents. How many 'meh..' level future paydays is it worth to either be out-boxed (by Rigo or Lara) 'til you look like a flatfooted novice, or brutally KOed (with the option of being brutally beaten up first) by Golovkin? The only way guys like these get top fights is by becoming so popular that a mass of fans demand it...for GGG this may ..just ..become possible if he keeps getting the KOs and HBO keeps pushing him. For Rigo and Lara the future is less bright.
Def GGG. He's obviously very talented but not the Hagler beater some of his over excited fans would have you believe. That said he does have the whole middleweight division running scared to the point it ha now become farcical. I mean is he really this unstoppable monster that everyone should be terrified of? The fact that they're all doing it is further perpetuating the 'legend' of his punching power and causing more fighters to duck him by the day. Pretty embarrassing really.
Gennady "Triple G" Golovkin. I heard ***xy Sergio now wears depends (dependos in Argentina) to all of his interviews just in case Triple G comes up in the interview.
